All Terrain Tires

The tires are one inch larger vertically, so they add 1/2" more to the height of the Sorento. A little extra ground clearance can't be bad. It does have some impact on the speedometer reading, but it's only a little over 1 MPH off. I'm sure there's also a slight hit to the MPG. Haven't driven it enough to find the specifics yet.
Trying to judge from your pictures, but based on your 255/50/20, do you think the X-Line would fit a 255/55/20? Would be 1" larger diameter over what you're running.

The 255/50/20 rubbed just barely when I would pull the wheel all the way in, like for a tight U-turn, but that stopped after they wore down a little bit, so it wasn't much of an issue. If you got 55s versus 50s, the rubbing might be more significant.
Great, thanks for that info, sounds like the 55s would be too much then.

Wildpeaks for me, but didn't want to spring the extra money for downsizing the wheels. Still very happy with them though!

Does your tire rub a little bit if your wheel is fully turned to left and parking in reverse? Mine does rub a little. They're 255/50/20. Its winter tires too the one i have.
245/50/20s don't rub. I had heard ppl mention the 255s did slightly, so I went down a size.

Have you noticed much of a hit in fuel mileage with these tires?
Hard to say honestly, only had the OEMs on for like 1,300 miles and I've never gotten particularly good gas mileage to begin with.

Maybe a couple of MPG overall, probably because they just have more rolling resistance. These tires definitely do not have the smooth tread profile of the OEM Continentals.
This sounds about right as far as what I've heard from other sources.

Did you put these tires on for off roading or for snow? I'm planning to put these tires too once my OEM's are done and so is my winter tires.

It would save me the money and hassle of chaging them twice a year.
TBH it was mostly just so the vehicle would look and act the part - seemed incredibly silly to have low-pro 20" all seasons on an AWD that's supposed to be soft-road capable. It's come in handy on one muddy field so far. We don't get a whole lot of snow down here, but when we do get even a little it's extra bad because they don't know how/don't have resources to prepare and clear roads like in the places that get snow regularly. So that's a nice bonus.
