Has anyone installed additional power supply behind the dashboard. I want to install camera and another sat nav. I have a unit that provides USB power levels but was looking to find a point to attach to the main system to obtain battery voltage. I do not want to use the indash supplies and have trailing wires around the gear stick.

Many Thanks,

Tommy

I would also suggest a fuse tap like this...
There is a location on this device for the original fuse plus also a location for the "new" circuit fuse...
There are quite a few different sizes of fuses so be sure you get an adaptor that fits your car's fuse panel...
I would suggest that you use a fuse location that is switched on with the ignition... You might try the "LIGHTER" fuse and check to see that it does turn off with the ignition...

Adding any "add on" device can cause major fire problems if not properly installed...a fuse just for the new device should be used to protect you and your car...
