Does anyone know if that new UVO radio could be retrofit into older Kias? I saw the ad for it in my dealer's showroom while getting an oil change, and nearly drooled all over it. I'd love to have that in my '07 Optima. Will it be possible to just buy one outright from the dealer as a replacement part? I can't seem to find any detailed installation information about it online , like electrical connection or dimension diagrams. I'm guessing it's a standard double DIN size. I'm sure an experienced car stereo shop could fabricate a pigtail harness onto it to make it plug into an older Kia's factory wiring with no problem. The only concern would be the radio dimensions and dash opening dimensions. Sure, you'd give up some of the functionality in retrofitting it (like the backup camera), but you'd still have more positives than negatives. I'm mostly wanting the hands-free voice activation capabilities to control music playback.
