I have a 2002 Sportage. I converted it to use an electrical fan. Later I noticed that the AC condensor fan is not turning, so I connected the power lead for that fan to start the radiator cooling fan with the included relay. This saved the ability to have AC as it cools both radiators. I feel intimidated at the task of getting at and removing the AC cooling fan. Can someone give me some directions on how to do that? Thank you, Paul

I am a little confused. Do you have two electric fans now? Are you going to replace the condensor fan? Was the condensor fan getting power and not running? If everything is working good now (not overheating) why not just leave it as is?

To remove the plastic front grill, look eye-level at the kia emblem, there is a phillips screw securing the grill frame to the body - remove it.

Then use a pick tool or small flat blade screwdriver at each of the (4) spring clips holding the four corners of the grill to pop out the clips -> remove the plastic grill.

From there you can disconnect / unbolt the compressor fan..
