I read several posts asking for help because the AC is suddenly blowing hot air and the system checks out as working fine. I had the same thing happen and here's what the repair guy found. Seems the cold/hot damper sticks in the closed position, not allowing the cold air (well, cooler air, as the AC air is not that cool, even in a perfect system) to enter the ducts. He simply moved the control dial to the heat position momentarily, then back to cool and the cool air came back into the ducts. He suggested doing this until it (the damper activator)eventually failed, because it is a big job tearing onto the dash to get to the damper to replace the activator. So far it works fine, now if I could just find a way to getting much colder air out of the system. The Sedona, and probably KIA AC's are crappy as far as cold air produced. Anyone got any ideas?
