I am about to buy a new Sorento XS 2.5CDRi 5 speed Tiptronic Auto for delivery as an 05.
Having read the forum I note there are a number of recall topics
1. auto box replacement
2. transmission pipes need replacing
3. pully belt alignment

How can I be sure whether or not my car will have these problems

If the Stock car requires any of them they will be done prior to delivery.
But as your going for 05 reg, your car will be way past these recalls.
