Hi, I have a spectra EX 2006.

I finished changing the timing belt, idler and tensioner. I have a pertty bad noise now, It's sound like the piston are hitting something....Doesn't look like a valve noise which I think is like a tick sound.

Any ideas?..,

Make sure you have your timing marks aligned properly and don't run it again until you're positive its correct. I can't imagine you have valves hitting the pistons as the engine wouldn't stay running long if it would even start at all. It would probably lock up. Never the less something is definitely off. Ticking sound would be valve lifters which has nothing to do with the belt change. I would take it back down and do a good visual inspection.
