So,

When I got this car, it was at a little under 100,000 miles and we inherited it from a dead relative.:(

It sat for almost a year before we took it out, cleaned it up and got it serviced. Now I'm noticing (roughly 112,000) the A/C isn't as cold as it used to be. Sometimes it will fluctuate from real cold, to not real cold then back up after a few minutes . Is this an easy fix? Could I simply buy a part and replace it with some handy work?

Thanks :D

Have someone check the freon level. My 03 needed a suction side hose replaced because of a pinhole in the rubber hose. It had 115,000 Mi on it. Replaced it, vac and recharge. Works great now. Look for signs of oily deposits on AC parts.

You said" Sometimes it will fluctuate from real cold, to not real cold then back up after a few minutes "...
Usually low refrigerent won't do that....You may have a slipping AC belt that when slipping the compresser doesn't pump well... The compresser could also be failing.

There is a "mixture" door inside the cab where the evaporator is that mixes hot air (heater core) with cold air (evaporator core). Depending on the model level of the car (electronic temperature control/manual control) the "brains" may be either getting the temp wrong or the door is sticking.
You may also be having problems with the AC lines and may need a AC specialist to monitor the refrigerent pressures inside the system with gauges.
Lots of things to check..

Also, I noticed when I start my car there is a slight 'squeak' like a loose timing belt just for a second before it completely turns over. That spark anymore ideas?

You may have found it all by yourself...
The AC drive belt slipping (without noise) will cause your posted problems...

Would it? I believe my car has one main belt in the front. Think replacing it would fix it? If my car has more, let me know so I can provide my mechanic the parts and save some cash.
