Thanks for your help in advance. My husband just loves his Kia and needs to replace the transmission oil cooling lines. I can't find it anywhere. Can brake line be used?

Thanks in advance for any and all help I can get. My husband just loves his 1995 Sportage and has kept it up well. He needs to replace the transmission cooling lines and I can't find it anywhere. Can a different line be used instead if it is the same diameter? Which by the way, I don't know.

I used cooper tubing ( i think it was 5/16 with hose clamps ) on my 2000 while waiting on dealer ordered part.Which also dissipates heat, It worked just fine but the down side was no mounting brackets. The up side was i could make it as long as i wanted for extra cooling.
You will need a tubing bender for kink free radius.
There are many after market oil coolers ,ie Hayden> on line.
Hope this helps.
