Of course you can, you just need to know what brand the dvd player is.
Pioneer, Sony, JVC, etc.
And you can buy a universal remote at the store locally.

Well I'm pretty sure I'm no further forward based on that information :p

I may be presumptious that KIA or Hyundai might have used a Korean brand DVD reader, so that might be LG or Samsung - but has anybody actually successfully used a 3rd party remote with the factory DVD system?

What you're asking is a RARE question - I don't think many Entourages/Sedonas were shipped with that package. I doubt many are still working. (Both CD players we've got died, something mounted in the ROOF gets "cooked" big time, especially in southern states. )

What I'd do is pull the unit and look for identifying marks, labels etc.
Another idea is to visit Stereo / Alarm shops and ask them if they have any interchange info.

(Long shot as they probably don't a clue, plus are motivated to sell you a aftermarket unit.)
Another option is to find a programmable /learning remote.

Q: Do you have the remote in question? (Probably not)
(If you end up having to buy a remote- I'd be inclined to see if a learning remote could be used. EG: While OEM remote is functional -CLONE it to a learning remote.)

Recap:
Pull the unit.
Post info off unit.
Post pics of identifying marks on unit.
Posts pics of unit itself.
Post pics of remote
Post part # of remote
(Someone may recognize info- Might help someone else down the road.)

PS: I don't know the exact rules here, but don't link to Ebay auction for remote and call it a day.
Link to auction AND upload/ make as a attachment pic /info in auction (description, part number, fcc id) so when auction goes stale info doesn't go "Poof", Item cannot be found after 90-days has elapsed.

I don't need the info but:

Remember to post back info on what remote emulates the OEM along with any programing info or tips to make it work.

Sure that might help someone down the road.

PS: Do you have the ORIGINAL REMOTE?.. learning remote could learn the codes.
BTW the chain store Dollar Tree has some real cheap to remotes to try if you have kids that tear up/lose stuff.

I'm pretty sure we have a few universal remotes kicking around in the house but I'll nip up to Dollar Tree to see what they have available and if they list Delphi too :)
I found out if your local Dollar Tree does not stock a item, you can order it online and have the option to:
Pay to get it shipped to your house, etc.
Or
Have it shipped to your local Dollar Tree, @ No-Charge.

Another idea...

You might want to check the Harmony remote website, they might have a listing?
