Took our 2021 EX Hybrid to the local dealer and referenced the service bulletin. Despite an appointment, it took them 2 - 3 days to even look at the vehicle. Flushed the system and replaced with the exact same coolant, which they say they were supposed to do, despite my insisting otherwise. Error message came back on, they uploaded diagnostics to Kia, and were told the replace the coolant pump ... which is backordered 2-3 months. Meanwhile, we're in a rental getting 22 mph and no hitch receiver to enable use of our new e-bikes.
When my wife called the dealer to tell them we wanted our vehicle back until the part comes in, she was told : 1) the steering column is disassembled (?) and 2) the issue is the water pump(?).
Seems the incompetence runs straight down from Korea to the dealer network. Needless to say, this is our last Kia. I know all manufacturers have their issues, but seems this one is barely even trying to resolve theirs.
