I'm not clear. Sorry. Are you telling is there is a leak and they can't find it?

If so, the obvious is to change dealers. I suppose I'd want to open a case direct w/HK so your side of the story/fact are getting entered. That problem w/the "Change dealer" idea is it may not be possible in some parts of the county of course. fwiw, they make additives for black light that can be used in coolant. A course of action might be to ask HK's help line if that's supported under the warranty. If so you could mention that tactfully to the service manager.

good luck

They can't find where is the issue, 1st they told me EWP( electronic water pump) was broken nor leaking. So they ordered the parts which it took 2 weeks so. Then I pick up the car in dealership, it came out right away. So I told them about it. They took it back after few mins later they bring the car. Told me it was bleeding, and it's fix. Then following next day same thing. So I take the car to shop, since then they can't find the issue where is the problem, also they told me order the parts don't know what they ordered

Couple things:

1) English may not be your first language. Nothing in the world wrong with that, but there may be communications issues coming from that. (and if so, welcome)

2) Given your picture I'm going to assume you're a woman. Sometimes woman get spoken down to or misled.

3) Some folks don't know lots about mechanical things. That's OK too, but harder when things for wrong.

Now I'm not saying any of that is happening or is not happening, I'm not just saying any of them are possible. It seems likely some parts of all of that are happening, but heck I'm not there, I'm guessing.

You kind of need a mechanically capable advocate. I get that's why your here, but I sort of think you need help right there with you. Do you have a locally operated service center you trust that could call and discuss what's up with the service manager?

Also, is below what you're telling us?

1) You somehow have learned there is a coolant leak in or around the inverter/battery/charging system.
2) KIA determined it was a failing water pump and replaced it.
3) When you picked it up it immediately leaked or over-heated again.
4) KIA then told you it needed "bled" (which means they thought it had air-bubbles in it).
5) I'm assuming it's still doing it. Are you learning of this from a warning light or...?
6) KIA has ordered more parts, but you're not sure what.

Lousy as it is, they may not really be doing anything all that wrong. Sometimes there is some trial and error in it, and sometimes parts can be hard to get. If you were in my area I'd just offer to go talk to them and see what was up. Is there a coworker, neighbor, or friend that know cars and would do you a favor?

If they can't find a leak for the inverter coolant, my guess would be a loss of pressure in the system is triggering a sensor to believe the coolant levels are low.

If Kia is bleeding the lines properly, and fixing hoses and flanges back on properly, it should fix the pressure leak...provided no parts have failed and need replacing.

I have the same issue, I just dropped my vehicle this AM for the 3rd time for this issue.

They already replaced an EPUMP, and its been fine for a couple of weeks but this last Friday the issues shoed up again. Dealer says when they plug the computer in there are no codes register for anything. Lets see what they say now.

Also first time they received the vehicle they said the levels on the reservoir where good and they went ahead and drained a little and refilled it just in case but that didn't do anything.

Second time they received it they send videos and pictures to KIA to share what was going on, and that's when KIA instructed them to replace the pump. Wanted 3.5 weeks since the part was on back order.

Lets see what they say now.

I just started getting this code today on my 2021 Sorento. It happened about two weeks ago for 1 day and then stopped I don’t drive everyday but seems to happen on a warm day when driving more than an hour and long idle time too. It has gone away after I let the vehicle sit for a while. I checked the coolant level both times but it was fine.

Yes it happens a lot to me since I drive a lot , the last time I brought my vehicle for the same issue KIA told my dealer now that they are aware of the issue and that if my fluid is full there’s nothing to worrry about my vehicle is safe to drive , and that they are also working on a solution via a software update since it is a software issue with the sensor that handles that inverter fluid .
Let’s see how long the fix takes

I checked it after seeing your post and interestingly it was empty and no warning for that. I will go to the service for that and let's see what will they say.? I will update this post after...

Edited:
The service is only filled with 1-litre battery coolant shown below and the price of the whole is 25 Euro.
I asked shouldn't a sensor give a warning for this? Is there any leakage?

They believe the initial level drops were entirely due to trapped air bubbles from the factory which eventually burped out into the tank...

I guess there is a mistake on the related sensor. Because there was no liquid in the tank. I will follow the liquid level regularly.

I am having the same issue with my 2021 Sorento Hybrid. Most recent trip to the dealer was a waste, they couldn't get the warning to come on and no codes came up during their diagnostics. It seems to happen more frequently when the car is sitting in the sun, but definitely sporadic at best. The dealer had no information on any update from Kia, but I'll ask again when I call them back. Please keep us updated on anything you hear/learn, and I will do the same!

That happened to me the first time I took it to the dealer , they couldn’t te create it and no codes to be found ….. then when it happened again they kept the vehicle for a couple of days and the second day they finally got the code to come up and even with the code lit up the computer came up with nothing …. I just emailed today my service advisor , he asked me to email him so he can check every two weeks to see if Kia release the alleged fix

I am new to this forum. I have the '21 Sorento Hybrid EX. I am taking it back into the dealer tomorrow for them to look at the inverter coolant issue. For us, it started last summer during the hot months. We needed to refill every two weeks and a gallon for the coolant is $40 from Kia. We had a small heat wave in northern california this last week and wouldn't you know it...the inverter coolant needed to be refilled. Took it to Kia, they refilled it, did all their tests, no leaks, no nothing...they called me to pick it up. I arrived to pick it up, started it...INVERTER COOLANT WARNING CAME ON. I promptly got out of the car and signaled the service counter to the vehicle where they could see it for themselves. Funny thing tho, the inverter coolant was full. They took it to the back, burped the system a few times and it went away. Other than that, the service tech had no clue what was going on.

They opened a consumer case for me and are taking the vehicle back tomorrow and giving me a rental. I doubt they will find anything due to cooler weather now (I didn't have a single issue during the fall/winter months), but I believe getting a case opened is a good place to start.

I will update this thread when they give me more information.

My refill inverter coolant light came on yesterday on my 2021 sorento hybrid. I called 3 dealerships within an hour of me. 2 are scheduled out over 2 weeks but said I shouldn’t drive it, but if I do, keep tabs on engine temp. Also said it had to go to Kia dealer for warranty to still be good. The 3rd one can get me in Monday. Hopefully they’ll be able to do something. All these post don’t make it look promising. Are you all still driving yours?
I was also told, no loaners available. They “don’t have enough new or used cars to sell, much less loan”

Im driving mine every day , they told me after the 3rd time the vehicle was there for the same thing that KIA is aware and that the vehicle is safe to drive . I drive a lot for work , I haven’t had any temperature issues or anything like that . It’s just annoying when it comes up, for me it comes up towards the end of the day , if I keep the vehicle on idle for a while (which a lot of times I do) it comes up for sure on that day .

Based on my experience don’t get your hopes up, I see on FB and forums more and more people complaining about the same issue.

dealers don’t know what they are dealing with , KIA corporate says that they are “working on a software fix” my service advisor said for me to check every other week to see if the fix was released.

Thanks for sharing this information. Have the same exact issue with my 2021 Sorento Hybrid EX. The coolant level was close to the MIN line, so I topped it off to the MAX. Problem went away for a few days, but now seeing it come up in the later afternoon, almost everyday. After 3 weeks of reoccurrence, just took my car into the dealership for an inspection. The service guy said he had seen this same issue with a couple other Sorentos, but the problem was never resolved and Kia told the dealership to just release the cars back to the owners. Doesn't sound good for now. Fingers crossed... Will provide an update ASAP!

Exact same as you. Was at min, bought 50/50 fluid from dealership, holding steady at max level. Still get the warning. Will be keeping tabs on this post. Thanks all, and sucks this is happening to us.

That reservoir is full and nothing changed on that one.

My engine coolant was a tad low, but that's not the error everyone is getting.

Hopefully it is a software fix they need to push out.

I just started having the same problem with my 2021 Sorento hybrid that I bought in April 2021. The reservoir is full, but the warning appears at random - not all the time. Judging by this thread, it looks like a common problem. Any official word from Kia yet on the cause and solution? The 4 dealerships near me can't see me within 1 month. That's pretty poor warranty service. Maybe they are all overrun with this same problem? Hah!
