I thought I would share how I installed a mechanical boost gauge in my GT. Along with installing a chip.
Total time it took to install, including waiting for the thunderstorms to clear up, was roughly 1 to 1.5 hours.

I moulded the gauge pod to make the gauge pod look more OEM with "knead it" and then gave it a splash of colour



Next I hardwired it with a micro2 fuse tap from the 12V from the ODB2 port (pin 16)
and connected the fuse tap to the cluster fuse which is 2nd from the top right with a 7.5A fuse





For the boost vacuum, I tapped in-between the one way valve and the throttle body with the supplied T-connector... It doesn't look pretty with the hose clamps but it works just fine



And with everything plummed up, including the TDI Tuning chip this was how it looked





To feed the vacuum pipe through the firewall, I just drilled a 5mm hole near where the clutch would normally be located and used RTV silicone to seal it.

I decided to share how I installed it as there isn't much information about how to install the boost gauge properly without buying a distribution block, or even wiring up accessories.
