current sw version qlpe.usa.sop.v103.181206.dau_a
Currently do not have navigation. No SD slot. I tried to dl the an update from Kia. I get the Insert media device , message.
Is there any way to update?

Also , Is there a resource for the Engineering mode settings? Some settings can be changed but not clear as to what they are.

I have the same issue, but my SW version is ql17. I think I saw SW for qlpe in kia map program. Did you download the program?

THe problem is in getting the correct update and getting it installed. THe Firmware will not recognize the files on the USB

in the Navigation Updater software provided by kia, instead of selecting the model of your kia you use the search field and type the beginning of your SW. I think is qlpe. and then you will have your update file. It is also important that the usb stick must have 32GB, no more and no less than that.

Ahh Maybe that is an issue. I was using a 64 gig stick. I have never seen where an EXACT size was needed.

that could be the problem. in the Kia software it shows several times that the USB stick has to be exactly 32gb.
