I'm about to give up on getting my Android phone and my 2020 KIA Soul to work.

I've tried everything I can possibly think of and it just won't connect.

Am I the only one still having this issue.… or are others equally frustrated?

If you got it to work, and know the secret solution, I'd love to hear if and how others have gotten it connected.

Thanks all.… in advance.

Try deleting your phone from the radio. Then Uninstall the app from your phone. Reinstall the app and when you connect your cable to the radio answer yes to all the prompts. If this doesn't work, then you might have to make a trip to the dealer. Also maybe check the settings in the radio, some radios, aftermarket in particular, have to be set up for Android or Apple. I deal in aftermarket audio and this is sometimes the problems we come across.

Just to close this out.…

The problem appears to have been the phone itself. I decided to buy a new Android phone (nothing to do with the Kia problem) and as soon as I got the new phone up and running I tried it in my 2020 Kia Soul.… worked immediately and with no errors, setup problems, concerns at all.

The lesson I learned here... don't blame the car or the app necessarily... it look at the base device (which in this case was the phone)

Thanks for everyone's help. 😀😀
