Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has successfully tapped into the rear speaker wires on a base model 2018 rio. Going to be hooking a sub up to the factory system to add a little bass, and was hoping someone could confirm before I go splicing something incorrectly. Thanks in advance!!

I did this in my 21 Rio. What we did was pulled the door cards off, and saw what colors were for the rear speakers. Then at the b pillar took the trim off and spliced into those wires at the rubber grommets. My remmondation, if u have tweets and sub in front Door. Pull signal from the sub, it's what I may do later.
