I've got a 2016 Soul, and 4 months ago it started to give me warning beeps when I turned off the ignition. Display does not suggest anything and it had never happened before. I took it to my dealer, and they told me this was normal and had been happening the whole time. Even though I had told them it just started.
Weirdest things are:
I have a housemate who also has a Soul (2015) and it started doing the same thing. Dealer also told HER she was crazy.
Then the same thing happened to MY Soul. (and the dealer told me I was crazy)
I know this sound wasn't happening for the fist 2 years I had the car.
AND - it doesn't happen every time I turn off the car. Mostly on trips longer than 15 minutes, but intermittent other times.
Anyone else know what this is?
I'd love to tell the dealer they are full of it and suggest how to fix it.

which specific model trim of Soul? Use a key or push-button to start the vehicle?

I got that when it indicated that the smart FOB battery is getting low. Just look at your instruments when this happens (I got a warning on my Supervision cluster with an icon saying this)
