2016 Rondo / Carens Heated Seats Swap?

My base level 2016 Rondo LX has all of the options I want except heated front seats. I know of at least two similar Rondos with heated seats that are being parted out. How complicated would it be to swap in the heated seats? I assume that I would need the seats and the console switches with their wiring. I don't know if my car is pre-wired with the harnesses for heated seats. If not, then I would need that from the donor car as well. My main concern is whether or not the Rondo is "smart" enough in its onboard management computer to be aware of the presence or lack of heated seats. It would be a waste of time to swap in the seats and wiring, only to have the computer throw a wobbly over mismatched or unknown equipment.

Has anyone done this swap before? Am I better off leaving things as they are? At least I can't complain about the output of the standard heater as-is.

You could check under your existing seat for the harness connector. Outside of that you will at least need the switches. Also check your fuse box, usually there will be a fuse and relay that are designated for the heated seats.
