Hi Everyone - I did my research but most threads seemed incomplete. 2019 model years have different headlights (low beams use H7 bulbs), so I'm hoping we can use this post as a definitive HID/LED post for anyone to easily find in the future.

Low Beams: H11 bulb:
- HID: Not recommended due to low success rate. Most kits cause problems with the canbus system.

- LED: Kits from Max5 on Amazon seem to work well. For the link, click here.

For those in Canada, I used this kit from Amazon.ca, see Attached photos. In summary, I'm amazed, much brighter and cut off is sharper, with hot spot spread out. Highly recommended!
Link to the exact kit I purchased is
.

Hi Beams: H7 with adapter required - I suppose similar questions to above would apply. For those with DRLs (such as myself, in Canada), I think halogen would be the only option

Fogs: 9006 - it seems any LED or HID kit should work with fogs as they aren't connected to the BCM.

I'll likely order led bulbs for the fog lights as well.

HID do not work in a 2016. Maybe someone has a kit that worked, mine did not!
I know how to install them, put a kit into my 2014 Turbo Sonata. Worked perfectly, no issues.
Silly to put HID into the fog lights. Big install hassle. LED's work perfectly and are a 3 minute install. Put out just as much light.

H11 kit is the same as H7 LED kit, just a different plastic tab ring. There are no issues with the LED's I have tried. I REALLY like the Sirius S3 and JDMAstar LED's, but they do not appear to make an H7 in the newest models. So I went with the MaX5, which works PERFECTLY and is a simple install.
I would not bother with HID headlights in this car. The lenses are not know to work well with HID, and you risk a $2000 hit if you blow out the LED eyebrows.

Thanks, yea I'm wanting to get leds after seeing your thread.

I jumped the gun and ordered the h7 adapter rings before I realized you had a 2019 model haha.

Since the plastic ring is different, it's a different kit, so I'll be ordering an h11 kit.

I don't plan to put HIDs in my fogs, I only included that above since there seems to be several posts about it. I plan to go with led for low beam and fogs.

It's the only reason I haven't already made the LED switch. I'm going to have to get in ahead of the ballast for the HID and still keep the bus sensing happy. Simply paralleling the LED bulbs across the ballast LV iinpts, leaving the ballasts in place with no output, may not be sufficient if we get into a 'bad bulb' report. I need to dig more deeply into how current sensing is employed to determine good/bad bulb to assure that we're in the ballpark with the parallel system in place. Alternately, it might be interesting to see what the system thinks of removing the ballasts and just running the LEDs solo off the LV input for the ballasts.

I'm pretty sure they came with the technology package that also hade the LKA and the crash avoidance stuff. They are pretty weak and yellow. I wa driving it the other night and it was cazy how dim they are compaed to the stinger's LEDs. Also it looks weird with the headlights being yellow and the fogs being white.

I've ordered the LED bulbs i linked in my first post (from Amazon.ca), should arrive tomorrow thanks to Prime. I'll take photos this weekend. I'll likely just install both and then drive out at night and take photos of the projectors against a wall so we can see how they perform.

Hi everyone, I just updated the original post with photos.

I'm blown away! Much brighter, cut off is sharper, hot spot is spread out vs halogen bulbs. I took it for a test drive and love it!

I'm a headlight projector fan, I've retro fitted/modded several vehicles and bike in the past, so I was looking for a great upgrade to these halogen projectors without breaking warranty (ie swapping projector or lenses) and am glad I found this. I hope the bulbs last at least a year haha.

Here is a photo with the passenger side LED bulb and the driver side halogen. Hard to tell in photo but it is much brighter and the cut off line is much sharp vs the halogen's fuzzy cut off.
