2014 Rondo Ex GDI Engine

Hello. I am considering to purchase a Rondo 2014 with 50kms on it. I’m a bit worried about the GDI engine as most of the reviews were not good. Is it advisable for me to purchase this car. Need some help here. Thanks everyone!
I'd first check with your Kia dealer to see if the recall has been done and that the 10 year 200 k km engine warranty is valid on this car. Even at that - the price must be greatly reduced and clean history. Mine is 2015 with 135 k 1-owner easy miles - no problems yet - but it does use almost 1 litre of oil between changes. I've just got my recall notice this week to say that the dealerships are finally ready to address the knock-sensor detection recall ...

Any other info on the recall? I had to trade mine in because the engine was about to fail. I would have been covered under this warranty.
Transport Canada 2021-039

Kia Canada SC036 but it doesn't describe the 10 year warranty. The mailed letter says :
" Kia will also extend the warranty coverage for damage to the engine short block and the rest of the long block assembly caused by a connecting rod bearing failure for 10 years starting from the date of first service or 200,000 km whichever occurs first for both new and used vehicle owners."
