i've seen the spare tire replacements you can buy and i've heard they are 15" tires (my kia soul has 16").

i know the base model used 15" tires but i've seen a few of the spare tire sizes i think most are the same and they are the same tire size as the 2010 kia rio tires.

i have a brand new (never seen any mileage usage) 2010 kia soul tire that i was trying to sell for a while but stopped when i thought it might be able to be used as an emergency spare for the soul.

i like the idea of using this tire for multiple reasons

1. it will fit in the tire spot in the soul without a problem

2. i would save me money from having to buy a new tire/spare

3. i already have it

with that said i've emailed kia dealership where i bought it but from past experiences before this they suck very bad on responding to emails.

will that tire fix the soul safely. i could always just see if it fits but i want to make sure its going to be safe as a temporary spare tire.

thanks

the compact spares sizes are listed in the back of your owners manual. Is this new tire you have on a rim or just the tire itself and what size is it?

its on the rim.

i bought it as a spare for my mothers kia rio 2010 from the dealer.

i've had bad luck finding a locally rim for the soul.
