Firstly, greetings to all as I'm new on this forum!
I've had my Australian Rio SLS since November 2012, at which point my insurance Agreed Value was about $23,090. As my policy is a multi-vehicle one, it is up for renewal next month and I was a little dismayed to see that the Rio's value is already down to $19,000. Any way, I was wondering if those of you who have had your SLS for over a year have comparable depreciation values on your insurance renewals?

That's common to lose up to 3-4 thousand in value for cars not just this one in a year. Some lose that much as soon as you drive it off the lot new. I have GAP to cover the depreciated value of my car if it was totaled in an accident. Hope this helps.

Hi YesFrancois!. Thanks for your reply; yes, it is helpful. What I'm trying to guage is how the Rio compares in this regard to other vehicles in its class - especially here in Australia.
