My grandpa washed the engine and it hasn’t started since. It will crank but it will not start up. I believe it’s electrical but all of the “mechanics” suggest other things and I’ve wasted over $650 on parts and labor. It did start about a few weeks ago for a few minutes and cut right back off and hasn’t started since. Ive replaced the fuel pump assembly as requested and also the crankshaft sensor (requested) they said they were positive the sensor was the issue....and still nothing. Does anyone have an idea of what it might be?

You need to either find a real mechanic (i.e. one who will diagnose instead of 'suggest'), or you can try to figure it out yourself if you are up for that.

I forgot to say that I’ve gotten diagnosis ran for the issue but for some reason the diagnosis tests aren’t working.
