Have car for two months, went to drive and it would not come out of park. Searched Internet, read about brake switch, saw brake lights not working, reached under dash and felt that the pop out on the switch was still depresses, tapped on it until it popped out, YEAH, now works. I am hoping it was a fluke.

2010 Sedona should be under warranty.
There was a TSB on this issue... If that TSB applies to your car, you will have to research that... Point is it's known problem and dealer should replace for free.

PS: Post back part number(s) of part(s) replaced, rate how dealer takes care of issue... EG: Replaces switch with a "Smile" or not.

Oh, this will happen to you at some point:

If it was stuck, it needs replaced. It will happen again. Call your dealer and make an appointment.

Oh, and to WeAreNotAlon, the TSB you are referring to in your link does not apply to the 10 Sedonas. They came with updated parts, so they won't have the TPS issue. There is also no TSB about a brake switch on a 10 Sedona.

Nice to know that TPS problem will never happen again...

Q: What exactly was redesigned? Would you happen to know if the ECU once updated can take the old part?
Q: How many do you replace each week? Another way to put it- what was the failure rate of the old design vs the new?
(Please post in the TPS thread linked to above)

This guy needs your help:

2011 Sedona did that today too

Our 2011 Sedona did that today too. We had to have the towtruck come and pick it up and he overrode it and took it to the dealership (all under warranty including tow). What a hassel though. Will find out what they say.
