2010 Optima Serpentine Belt Drama

I just replaced my belt on a 2009 Optima and although daunting at first, after putting it on the first time, I feel very comfortable getting in there and making changes to pulleys, etc. Believe it or not, I used zip ties to keep the 17mm open-ended wrench tight while threading the belt over the pulleys. The attached diagram helped me more than anyone at Autozone, and Pep Boys, etc. Nothing against them of course.

It was definitely NOT easy for the first couple of hours (had to do it alone), but now I think I could replace the belt or a tension pulley in less than an hour. Make sure whatever Serpentine Belt Tool set you pick up or buy, has 17mm size in it. Took up much of my first hour. :)
