Ok... got a used (1 driver) 2008 kia sportage LX 50K miles... here are a few questions (some of them happened after I bought it)
1. When Iock my car or unlock it the lights don't flash, where should I look for the issue?
2. my liftgate sensor I think is bad (doesnt read open on the dash), is there a sensor like on the doors or is all in the latch? (this could be causing #1)
3. occasionally my turn signals blink fast, but the lights are not blown. I am guessing a short or bad ground. where would I look for a loose ground.
4. my Speedometer does not bottom out to 0 (I used my GPs and the speedometer is like 3MPH faster, is this normal?
5. My Fuel gauge geeks out on me every once in awhile not reading the right fuel level.

I have Torque OBD, will this help find the issues? if so what are some good PID's?

thanks in advance

1) If that car came equipped with that option, check the for a bad fuse.
2) if that car also had that option check for a bad fuse, or the light on the dash could have just went out..
3) A little dialectic grease on the ends of the light can stop that.. If the bulbs are kind of loose it is creating a short.. I had issue like this with my 06 sportage I had yrs ago..

For most other issues check for loose battery connections or loose body grounds.. I know some earlier modes of KIA were missing something as simple as a indicator when turning you lights on.. My 2013 did not have that idiot light option to indicate the lights were on.

Your speed being off. You might have a bad wheel speed sensor.. I would have a mechanic do a check on that.
