Ok new here and hope someone can help me. My 2007 spectra blower motor stopped working. I checked the motor it is fine. Got a new resistor and found out I needed 2008 part. Went to the Dealer and they gave me part number 97128-1G000. I put it in and now blower only works on low. Reading threads here I think they gave me the wrong part. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue, so I went to dealership and talked to a technician. I had to buy the $95 resister and the wire harness ($105). I also bought the relay because it was $25 and known to go bad. My recommendation is to buy all of them and replace at once. I would also take your VIN into the dealership and see if you got the right part. When I install all of my parts this weekend, I will let you know if it fixes my issue..... The wire harness is known to melt around the transistor so I would recommend fixing that or the transistor is just going to go bad again.

The part # 97128-1G000 you got was for 2005-2011 RIOs and not for the 07 Spectra from what I have researched.. I wonder why things don't work...
pm cobra259 like we said and get the correct part #s and parts.
Looks like the harness may not be needed also "if" the end is not melted..
