Recently my spectra has been having this problem when first starting it the morning or sometimes after sitting for more than 4 hours where it’s idling rough, sometimes to the point where it’ll just stall. It’ll start up again fine but still be idling rough. Only after warming up for 5 to 10 minutes that it will run fine, even if I turn it off and back on it runs fine. But like I said the problems comes up again after sitting for a while. So far, the only thing that sort of fixes it is when I disconnect the TPS. Of course, I tested the wire harness to it and that’s fine and replaced the TPS also. I also replaced the MAF sensor and tested the wire harness as well. When I scanned the car for codes nothing comes up. I been stumped for a while and don’t know what else to do.
Please Help!

Been driving it with the CEL on? Need to get P codes from the computer. I more common fault is found with a dirty Idle Air Control valve which is the main control for normal (warm idle) and cold start idle increase for "warm up".
14 yrs old now, have you replaced plugs and wires yet?
And how about the CRITICAL timing belt? If that were to snap, you'd be searching for another motor.

No CEL and I already scanned for codes and nothing. I did clean the IAC and it is working but that didn't help much, just replaced the wires and spark plugs not to long ago, as for the timing belt I changed that about 36,000 miles ago.

Did you also already closely inspect the rubber intake air connections for cracks and good seal between the MAF and intake manifold?
And has this been going on since replacing the TB? I had to "reset" the belt a second time upon doing the 2 revolution turn on installation as the cam gear was a tooth off. Easy to miss, and could cause cold start run issues when coupled with the VVT system.(although I can't say as FACT)

I did check to the best of abilities for vacuum leaks after the MAF sensor but to me it seems fine, although I not sure if the intake manifold might have one around it. The problem has been occurring before I replaced the TPS. As for the timing belt I would have to check if it needs to be reset.
