When first replacing the headlights on my 2005 Kia Optima, I was a bit stupid in not thinking through the possible mechanics or looking up how to do so, and tried to remove the part I've pictured (and attempted to highlight) below by removing the screws and not turning the clasp to release the headlight. Of course, dropped the pieces into the engine and was never able to recover them.

It's a small assembly of about 4 pieces of metal and 2 screws. I've tried looking for them, and will continue to. In describing them to an auto-zone clerk he said it was likely something I'd have to dig through a scrap yard to find. Not sure I described it well.

If anyone could let me know if this part has a particular name or if there's an easy way to obtain one, I'd appreciate!

oops

After looking around(5 mins) found some 05's which have recently passed on, all which have headlight assemblys for under 100$
I heard a similiar strength wire could be used to recreate this
