This summer I replaced my compressor, expansion valve and dryer filter bag. The system was properly evacuated and recharged by a professional shop. The system will eventually cool down to about 45 degrees but it seems to take almost 20 minutes when the outside air temp is above 85 degrees.

I'm starting to wonder if the ac system in the Sorento is undersized and that it will just normally take this long to take the hot air out of the vehicle?

Any ideas? Comments? :) Thanks.

Is your condenser(large) fan working properly? Does your ac only work when you're driving fast down the interstate and then stop cooling in traffic? That is the problem I have. Now if I can just figure out what is stopping it from working.

I've posted another thread as to what my problem was, it ended up being a dirty evaporator.
