Similar question as I've been told by an alignment shop that they can't align because the lower arm bushing (front) has some play in it. They specifically mentioned they could feel the wheels move forward/back when applying the breaks.

How stiff should this, and the knuckle, be? My understanding is that this helps hold the wheel front to back, while the stabilizer arm and lower control arm are more left to right.
