Ok so my 2002 auto 4x4 sportage won't idle runs fine at high rpm but as soon as you let off the gas rpms nose dive and it dies.... Had the plugs changed recently seems to run fine as long as you keep your foot on the gas but otherwise not so much...
Thanks now for any response

No, not at all. But be careful with its gasket, to not damage it or to replace it if it is damaged.

Unplug its connector, unscrew its two screws and remove it, take care of its gasket, spray some carburetor cleaner inside the IAC valve and shake it, with a flat screwdriver carefully move its shutter up and down, put it all back the way it was, taking care of its gasket.
