I bought a used 2000 Sportage today and it runs pretty good.
The woman I bought it from said there was only one thing wrong with it that she knew of.
She said her son told her something like there was a heat sensor that was bad and it would affect the operation of the tranny.
The only thing that I really noticed in the forty or so miles I drove it today was that the temperature gauge needle never showed much over a quarter way up.
Any thoughts on this?
Also, is the 2.0 motor in this an interference motor, so that I'd need to check the timing belt right away.
