I have had intermittent problems with my 2000 kia going dead and not starting. The alternator, battery, water pump and belt have all been replaced within the last few months. Something is still draining the battery. It is dead again. Jumped it and could only drive it up the street the other day and lost all power again. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions - please HELP if you can.

Thanks

To Mich, you probably have a voltage leak. This takes methodical diagnosis with a voltmeter or such. I.e. when your car is off the battery is draining. This can be a difficult problem to find the source of. Perhaps the alternator is defective as fastkia suggested but this too can be diagnosed with an alternator tester. This will check for Adequate amperage from the alternator. You may need to go to the dealer or an auto electric specialist. Let me know, I care. Speedster1
