I hit a huge puddle a few days before my car breaking down. The car never died, and I drive it several times after hitting the puddle. Now my car only turns over, and doesnt start. I thought it was my fuel pump, so I changed it. Still it doesnt start. Hooked up a diognastic machine to read the codes and it doesnt pick up the computer.

Welcome Candy!

If the on board diagnostics (OBD) computer, doesn't communicate with the Scanner, I bet that your Sephia has blown fuses, which could be the cause of the non-start issue; so, I kindly suggest you to check the Relay & Fuse Box, for loose, corroded and / or burnt fuses.

Kind Regards.

1) What's the mileage?
2) What's the service history, oil and oil filter change interval.
3) When last was the timing belt changed?

Try starter fluid, if it doesn't start with that, do a compression test and if low check your timing belt.
