Took the Sportage off-roading on Sunday for the first time. I must say it got up & down some terrain that I really didn't think it could handle.
The only thing that really let it down was lack of ground clearance (and the road tyres, but that's easily sorted)
So, in an effort to get some more clearance does anyone know if a lift kit is available for it ? Spring spacers would do for a start, but I don't want to mess up the suspension & steering geometry too much so a full kit would be better. I'm only looking at 1.5" to 2" max. More than that would need work with drive shafts, brake lines etc I'd imagine.

Biggest problem is going to be the length of the front driveshafts. By increasing you ground clearance (spring spacers, etc) you will put the driveshafts at more of an angle than they were designed to be (diff to wheel hub), particularly when turning. You might get an inch or so out of it, but anymore is probably going to be out of the question.

The floorpan of the Kia Sportage II/Hyundai Tuscon is derived from the Hyundai Elantra car, and is not really suited/designed for 'offroading", only soft, made roads.
