Someone please help. I need to replace my sparkplugs on 03 Optima 4cyl and need instructions. Do I have to remove the valve cover? If I do, do I have to replace the gasket or is it a rubber seal? What does the gap have to be set at?

To make the topic short.. you do the following: Take off the plastic cover. unscrew the two plugs that are bolted down. The better (IF not all) plugs should be pregapped so you should have to gap it.. if so then either call the service center @ KIA and ask them what the gap should be. but all in all the plug should be pregapped.. newayz, hope that helps!
