My Rio 1.1d (2012 UB) needs a replacement rear bumper due to a 'someone forgot the handbrake' incident - and currently the car is not fitted with rear parking sensors.
The question is, if I source a secondhand bumper with the factory parking sensors and loom all ready to plug in to my Rio 1.1d...
We bought our 2021 EX in December of 2020. Yesterday when I was sitting in a parking lot gathering my things before turning my car off and all of the sudden the dash started flashing a bunch of warnings:
-Check Front End Collision Warning System
-Check Lane Keep Assist System
I am assuming that the sensor has failed, but there may be other causes.
Can anyone advise how to properly diagnose the problem and if indeed the sensor needs and point me at instructions to replace it?
I have a 2008 Rio 1.6 hatch, the just recently had a service done and all belts etc replaced. I though the service would solve my problem but I am still getting around 7km/l in town and about 11km/l highway which seems doesn't seem right to me as the car gave me much better consumption...
