  1. Kia Carnival & Sedona 2015+
Hey guys I just bought my first Kia, a 2018 Sedona sx. It needed an alignment and I took it in and they told me it needed front brake pads and rotors. I told them I generally do that kind of stuff myself and was informed that there was 100% no way I could do it on this car without hooking it up...
  2. Kia Carnival & Sedona 2006+
2008 2 Brand new Caliber on front bleed tell new fluided came out. But the passenger side hangs up to the point where it over heats. When the passenger side was bleed you have to really push on the pedal to get it to bleed.
  3. Cerato, Shuma & Spectra (post in sub-section only)
Hey, I have a 2017 Kia Cerato hatchback. Today while I was driving the brake pedal got hard and no brakes was applied to the car. I released the brake and mashed again and same thing. On the third attempt the pedal got back to normal and the brake continued working fine. 15 mins after the same...
  4. Forte/Cerato and Koup (post in sub-section only)
I absolutely hate the way the brakes feel on my 2015 kia forte. For me, the top 70% of the brake pedal press does very little and the bottom 30% causes the car to brake hard. The sweet spot of the car braking comfortably feels like a knife edge sometimes and I wish it was more gradual from top...
  5. Kia Seltos
Has anyone experienced vibrating that seems to be coming from the brakes/transmission while slightly applying the brakes. I notice it most while in a drive thru or in slow moving traffic. I have the automatic turn-off button shut off, so I know it isn't because the engine is stalling when stopping.
  6. Kia Cee'd Forum
Hi, Can anybody tell me the average lifespan of brake pads and discs for a Kia Cee'd 1.4ltr? I've had my car for 5 years and haven't even done 24,000 miles yet. I've taken it for it's annual service and MOT and I've been told that it's failed the MOW on the brake pads and discs and it'll cost...
  7. 1G (1993 - 2002) Sportage
Alright, I've got a 2002 Sportage that the rear driver brake line just cracked and I need to replace it. It starts at a connector above the Differential and then goes to the drum brake. Does anyone know what specific part number that line is or where I can find it? Thanks, -Cake Man
  8. 4G 2016-2018+ Sportage
2017 Kia Sportage SX Turbo. I nearly hit someone yesterday because when they cut me off (and the sensors didn't register it somehow), I stomped my brakes and the pedal went all the way to the floor with pretty weak effect. Later, that same drive home someone in front of me slowed down and the...
  9. 2014 - 2015 Sorento Forum
Had this car less than two weeks. The brakes started squeaking a couple days after I got it (it was raining a lot so I paid no mind) and then it got worse. Shortly after the AWD warning indicator light came on and I noticed I burning smell from the tires. Took it in to be serviced and they...
