Sedona load springs

I have a 2006 Sedona and would like to bolster the rear suspension.

I have seen the threads about the nylon spacers, rubber inserts (inside the coils) and the Firestone airbags. It looks as if the best solution is the Timbren HROD1. I tend to overload the van when the family takes a trip and I scrape the hitch all the time. In fact, the hitch drags over inclines while the van is empty...hate that!

My mechanic (I only use him for things I cannot do or the weather won't co-operate, haha) would rather use new springs; he called them "load springs". I assume these would be springs for a different vehicle and would fit the Sedona after being banded mostly likely.

Does anyone have any knowledge about different non-kia brand springs?

That is a common problem with Sedona. But after replacing those parts it will surely be OK and last long.
