Little over 100k and has been a good little car until the other day when it started to make a whining noise and then locked up on me on the highway! About two months ago it started to vibrate when sitting in idle and if I put it in neutral it would stop my friend told me that they thought it could be the motor mounts but I am beginning to wonder if maybe it didn't have something to do with the transmission. I have only had the car for about 6 months and do not know anything about the previous owners or if it had regular maintenance. I do know that it gets great gas mileage and no safety recalls have been issued on this particular year of Spectra's.
