I've had that happen so many times that I've about given up on ordering auto parts from Amazon unless I know exactly which part number I need. Their cross-references are horrible. And even if you know the part number you have to be really careful that the results return the correct item (been bit by that, too).

A good online source is Rock Auto, and they sell an AC Delco CF3327 for under $12 (plus shipping) for your Sorento. Try cross-referencing that part number. AC Delco is great quality. If there's a Baldwin option, that's probably the best filter out there (we run them in our entire fleet of everything from forklifts and delivery vans to semi's).

Best bet go to an auto parts store or back to the Kia dealership. Read your manual and it should show placement and part number then Google it. Car parts online. Rockauto.com, Car parts.com, even auto parts stores are online.
I've never had an issue replacing mine in my old 2010 Optima
