I'm hoping to find someone other than a dealer who has a GDS scanner that can tell me whether or not a 2014 Kia Sorento has an HID option setting in the IPM/BCM User Option menus.
I'm trying to get someone with a scanner tool with the capability to access the User Options so I can switch on the HID option for my Sorento since I'm trying to install Kia HID headlamps out of the SX model. The wiring to the bulbs is the same and they do function except for flickering when the engine is running due to the halogen bulb check PWM signal running through the power feed lines from the IPM.
