KIA K2700 boils and boils????

Hi I have a K2700 its just started to boil on me all the time, I replaced the water and anti-freeze anti-boil, the water pump and thermostat and then the radiator cap and it still boils and I have taken it to two mechanics and they have no idea the last one let it idle for 1 hour and it did not boil but when I drove it home about 10km it boiled on me. any ideas would be good as I need it for work.

Welcome to the forum.

If the thermostat, coolant additive, water pump & belt, radiator, temperature switch & fan, are all in order, then it is most likely a blown cylinder head gasket.

Does it get hot while cruising, or when at low speed in traffic?

Quality and not quantity counts.

Jud,
could you answer Ron1004 questions?

Also, specify how old is the car and what is the ODO now.

Lots of time and money spent on this issue with our 2007 k2700. The temp sensor is located in a bad spot and will not detect overheating if water is just a little low. Loose water and motor locks without ever showing hot... This motor is very sensitive to heat and almost always warps or cracks the head, the block must also be checked. need a good quaily mechanic to do it right and it will cost you...Catch it early head gasket and shave head (hundreds of dollars)...catch it late...well first meltdown cost me $5000 at dealer... pistons manifold, head ect. All my issues started when I let a poor mechanic change a motor mount. did not install it right fan hit and broke of blades just as I loaned the car to someone and they drove it till it locked the motor. They said it never got hot. I did not believe them....till it did it on me a year or so later. opted to do it local and not dealer for a lot less 1/2...it is a good truck but one must watch the water temp like a hawk. any little change is an issue...and gets costly fast.
