Does anyone know whether the Stinger GT is at the NY Auto show? If so, which exterior colors do they have there and are you able to sit in the car?

Please disregard my last post. I found out via a YouTube video that the blue, white, and red Stinger GTs are at the NY auto show and that the blue one is that only one that you can sit inside. Speaking of colors, which color combinations is everyone considering on here? I am mostly interested in the one with the white exterior and the red interior, which seems to be a very popular color combination these days.

till Kia releases their interior and exterior colour palette (which will probably not be till close to availability along with the MSRP) its going to be hard to say and will also vary from country to country.

A bit of trivia:
Kia Motors built 15 Stingers in March for export, probably for auto shows presentations. They built 58 for their domestic market.

Got to see all three of the Stinger models at the NY Auto Show last month. Talked with a KIA rep who opened the doors and rear hatch for me so I could get some photos. I wasn't allowed to sit inside any of the cars. The rep did not know anything about pricing. As for when the cars would be at KIA dealers, his best guess was in the Fall. That could mean September or later. Time will tell.
My local KIA dealer had no pricing info but a sales guy I talked with told me he already has one sold. He claims he has a customer who wants the first Stinger they get. He asked me if I wanted to be put on the "list" to buy one. I declined and told him that until I knew what the pricing would be I wasn't interested in being on any list. I'm also interested in the colors that will be offered. I know about the two engine options (4 cylinder turbo and twin turbo V6) and the rear wheel and all wheel drive options. The only transmission will be the 8-speed automatic currently found in the K900 model.
I'll post some photos of the Stingers I saw at the show the next time I'm on-line.

Sharp looking car, but I think what I like most about it is the fact that it has a hatch. This solves the issue of the mail slot trunk openings that modern cars have due to the slope of the rear glass. (You can't even fit a standard 18-22 gallon storage tote into some trunks anymore!)

I'm not sure if this added utility will translate into increased sales, but if I was in the market for something like this, (and hadn't just bought a Forte5) I'd be on the waiting list for sure.

I figure if I could get BMW-like handling in a KIA my day would be made. I like my Sorento but the handling characteristics are less than exemplary. If Albert Biermann were to design a better handling Sorento I would be ecstatic. But until that happens I may be looking seriously at the Stinger on its arrival.
