missing gasoline

Vehicle service at the dealership
Has anyone ever noticed a dip in the amount of gasoline in your vehicle after picking it up from the dealership for service? Even if only one mile has been added to the odometer when it was dropped off?

Kias that I have owned
2011 Sorento SX
2011 Optima SX
2016 Cadenza SXL

Garage

Never noticed that with the Kia. In contrast, when we take our Benz in for service, the dealership we use actually tops off the tank!

Well they may drive as part of the service. But just 1 mile off odometer? Perhaps they idle the vehicle for hours?

You suspect siphoning?

I don't think you can siphone new vehicles these days. There is a screen thats placed in the feed tube where you put gas into which prevents a hose to be inserted into the tank.
