To my surprise, legislation can't keep up with changes in the world.
I guess, it is nothing new.
Drugs, alcohol, guns, distracted driving
The last one is the worst now - from phones, through tablets, big displays with several layers of functions... no to mention overall trust to automation in the car (from wipers to headlights, from blind spots detection to backup cameras).
Anyway, an old program showing what happens when the best of the best are paying attention to their phones, just for this fraction of a second, while driving.
If legislation can't do it, why don't WE start the change?
