  1. Scratched interior plastics

    Kia Soul Forum
Unfortunately, I have no siggestions. I have a few scuffs myself, and I'm ridiculously gentle on a car.
  2. 2011 Kia Soul Trailer Hitch install "tricks" for the "driveway mechanic"

    Kia Soul Forum
I'd like to see a pic of the installed hitch. Sounds like it's cool.
  3. 2014 Kia Soul

    Kia Soul Forum
Am I the only one who doesn't think there is really anything "spy" about this? More like "teaser shots". I see some subtle differences. Looks like a bigger window in the very back. The hood appears to kind of wrap down along the side a bit. Not as much a change as I expected if this is really...
  4. Are there Kia Soul OEM all weather rubber floor mats available?

    Kia Soul Forum
The WeatherTech mats are way overpriced for what you get. You'll pay more than double what Cobra will sell the OEM mats for if you want all four. The WeatherTech mats are nice, but priced about twice what they should be.
  5. SiriusXM. Are you keeping it?

    3G (2012 - 2017) Rio
Let it expire, then let them contact you a couple of weeks later begging you to stay with a price they claimed they couldn't do before. Terrestrial radio sucks azz. I'll never listen to that commercial laden crap with the same few songs played over and over again. I miss the days of the 70s...
  6. Questions on Soul

    Kia Soul Forum
I have an '11 Exclaim. I'll give my input and what I've heard from others. Definitely go with the 2.0. You aren't going to have acceleration that gives you whiplash, but it's not exactly gutless either. Some claim the 16" tires have a better ride than the 18s. I didn't notice much of a...
  7. Selling my 2006 Kia Sorento $12,600

    Vehicles For Sale
Got a local dealer selling an '06 EX with 49,000 miles in pristine shape for 9,995.
  8. wind buffeting... design flaw?

    3G (2012 - 2017) Rio
No one should drive a car at 70 MPH with open windows unless you have the back window removed. There isn't a car out there that won't do this exact same thing with windows down at that speed. Also, I'm amazed at how people still don't understand that running the AC once you reach about 40 MPH...
  9. Want a Soul, will probably end up elsewhere

    Kia Soul Forum
You cannot custom order a car from any manufacturer these days. Go into a Chevy dealer and try to custom order a car built to your specs. See what the reaction is. Ditto for Toyota, Honda, etc. It just doesn't work like that anymore and hasn't in years.
  10. 2013 Soul - Canadian specs and features

    Kia Soul Forum
They should get rid of the hideous 2012 taillights. UGH! Hold off until 2014, when the next generation Soul is due to hit the market. I'm curious what that will look like.
  11. First mod / first post!

    Kia Soul Forum
Phew! I was getting worried. That explains the red Soul in the pic you posted awhile back. We should get together sometime and do a pic of the Souls together.
  12. "Hearsay" Transmission Problem

    Kia Soul Forum
WOW! That is a LOT of cars! I've had...six. I'm almost 50 and have had only 6 cars my whole life. My favorite so far was my Nissan ZX. However, that thing was mechanically/maintenance-wise the worst car I've ever had.
  13. Weak Horn

    Kia Soul Forum
It's not a motorcycle horn. I have a motorcycle, and the horn on it is really good. As for imnspection, as long as you have a functioning horn, you pass. It doesn't have to be wimpy.
  14. Protection from lemon car on a lease

    4G (2011+) Optima
I think leasing is always a bad idea. But if you insist... Don't worry about putting off the sales guy. You're there to negotiate a transaction, not become drinking buddies. He's looking out for his best interests, and you should look out for yours. As for GAP insurance, get it through your...
  15. New to Forum/Few questions

    Kia Soul Forum
I'm not sure about the warranty. Did you buy the car from a dealer that is not Kia? The cars tend to be problem free for the most part. Be careful of the interior parts, as they tend to scratch very easily. Most importantly, be sure to have the timing belt changed at 60,000 miles.
