New Kia Soul owner needs help with EVO

Hello....I purchased a 2018 Kia Soul from a non Kia dealer and there were no service records with it. Spoke to my
local Kia dealership and the service manager suggested that I bring it in for its 30K service. They told me that my EVO
would be automatically updated. I have registered, downloaded the app, connected my phone with a USB cable and it
is communicating, but does not show that this service was just done. How do I get this to work properly?
Thank You,
Bruce

Can't help with the app, but have you checked to see if any of the services were reported on CarFax?

Gaps in service history would have me steer clear of a used vehicle.

Quality and not quantity counts.

I have bought a lot of older vehicles (10+ years) from a non-dealer, because they were cheap enough that a lemon won't be a big hit.
But a last year model? Without warranty?

Now, with the question in the thread... if the update would be made, it would show up on the invoice, even if zero $ would be charged. They probably "forgot" to actually do it.

For a 2013 Kia Optima, the update was available online, to be written on an USB stick: https://kia.oemdtc.com/228/uvo-softw...013-kia-optima
For 2014 Soul it seems it is avail on a SD card:
https://kia.oemdtc.com/168/navigatio...rento#more-168

Could not find anything on 2108, OP can search more on that website: https://kia.oemdtc.com/?s=soul

So it goes...
