Changing cigarette lighter in 2012 Soul?

Power outlet (cig lighter) needs replaced in my 2012 Soul. Can I just pull it out or does some of the dash have to come off? Thanks.

Any of the fuses under the hood go to the 12 V power outlet? I checked and changed the one by the steerling wheel and that one was fine. Thanks.

There are two fuses in the same box, one for rear, one for front. Also it might be that the wires are disconnected/bad. Ground wire should be inspected too. You can measure it inside the socket, with a voltmeter, against the body.

This is the fuses i have under my hood. None seems like it would go to the power outlet.

It's not in the fuse block under the hood. Open your Owner Manual, page 7-47, 7-50 and 7-51.

So it goes...

Close enough, that was in my 2011

Look around yours, you will see the picture with small fuse panel that's inside the vehicle, plus all those fuse labels.

So it goes...
